An overview of Ishikawa Sake Brewery, typical sake, brewery tours, and access information.
About Sake Brewery
Founded in 1863 (Bunkyu 3rd), Ishikawa Sake Brewery was started by Kazuyoshi Ishikawa, who borrowed the warehouse of Morita Sake Brewery in Akiruno City.
It moved to Kumagawa in 1880 (Meiji 13), and the storehouse and gate built at that time are registered as registered tangible cultural properties.
Based on the concept of “brewing sake that goes well with meals”, we brew sake by combining traditional techniques and the latest technology.
We use natural water pumped up from 150m underground for our sake.
Ishikawa Brewery’s signature sake, “Tama Jiman,” is derived from the wish to “satisfy the hearts of many people”.
Craft beer “Tama no Megumi” was born in 1998 when brewing resumed, with a history of beer production in the Meiji era.
